Yeah..but like I said..Lebanon has a deep talent pool and i'd say they had 15 on the bench that are more than adequate to fill thier shoes. They are used to playin tough competition. What they will be facing next year is weaker than what they are coming from.
No dis-respect to the Pioneers but they lost their QB, #5 Zac Jessee. He made that team go period!
Their running back #24 Skyler Musick, who rushed for all those yards doesn't want to get hit IMO.
Who did they play last year? Nobody... They played Tazewell but they played in week 2! A lot of teams would have wanted to play the bulldogs in week 2 trust me not in weeks 7-11!
They played Richlands and and got absolutely destroyed 69-6 and that was with the tornadoes 2nd and 3rd strings.
Another note the team I saw at Giles was very small. Giles could have put more points on the board but didn't.
I see GC, VHS and LEE HIGH beating Lebanon!
You really can't put teams up against last year's giles or richlands teams for a comparison. But Lebanon, played Honaker, Rural Retreat, George Wythe, Richlands, Tazwell..etc Any of those I think could have beaten VaHigh. The Cats barely beat a badly down GC team. BTW, who else did the cats beat of any consequence?

The CATS schdeule was much more demanding and if you can't see that then your blind.
Seeing that you are from the BSG. It not your fault for not knowing what goes on outside of your world down there.
Started the season off 4-1 and then having to play TAZEWELL, HONAKER, RICHLANDS, GRAHAM, and LEE HIGH.
A lot of team would have lost to those teams in this area!
Against Honaker the CATs had the ball inside the Honaker 25 yardline 5 times in the first half and scored 7 points! You let a team hang around all day and your gonna get beat.
VHS fumbled their life away in both the Honaker and Tazewell game. Tazewell game went from a 7-6 game to a 35-6 game in 5 minutes due to fumbles.
ANYWHOO...we are not here to talk about last year...why!? Well that was last year...on to next year...

Damon Dock is the real deal, he has incredible speed and is hard to bring down. I have watched Damon since he was in the third grade run at will up and down the field,if he gets the corner on you watch out! He may be the fastest back in SWVA in sometime and is a good kid. Strong class of freshmen coming up from 8th grade to add depth at QB, O&D line and linebackers. Va. High may have the best linebackers in SWVA, and their secondary will be scary fast. The real question will be at QB, of each that you mentioned they are all great athletes but no experience. With that QB position stepping up I see Va. High winning the district.
Well..it shows ur from GREAT CITY as well..lol...but if ya wanna pick apart VA High's powerhouse schedule..here goes:
Lost to TN High ( one of the few real teams they played)
Beat perinneal power house John Battle..lol
Beat a hard nosed Abingdon squad (sarcasm)
Scraped by Marion
Scraped by an VERY down GC team
(So yeah..who wouoldn't hve been AT LEAST 4-1 at this point.
Then some real teams showed up as Va High dropped 3 straight to Honaker (down as well) Tazewell (who you say would stomp Lebanon...lol) and Richlands (who no one could beat last year)
So at this point the weak early schedule didn't appear to pay off as the team is now 4-4)
Then Graham Spanked the cats and finally..
The cats beat lee only to lose again to richlands.
So there ya go..VA High played some good teams..but played alot of patsies too. And I still don't see em beatin Lebanon next year regardless if every player on the team can bench press a bus...if i'm wrong i'll be the first to admit it..but i don't think i'm gonna hbe.
